Buses will depart and return to the Jewish Center, 131 West 86th St.
We will be delivering much needed necessities to distraught families, while assisting with
cleaning damaged homes and synagogues and providing much needed support
for The Long Beach Community.
Suggestion of helpful thinb to bring/donate:
Cleaning supplies
Flashlights with extra batteries
Diapers & wipes
Baby formula
Canned foods/ soups,
Fresh apples
24 hour candles and 3 day candles
Activity books for kids
Underwear (new)
Socks for kids and adults (new)
Chocolate bars
Sugar
Instant coffee
Balls for kids/games,
Boots
Your support will be deeply appreciated and 100%
will go towards rebuilding and providing support for the Long Beach
community.

Too many people in the community lost their food to Sandy. The is an
organization called Bnai Raphael Chesed Organization that gives out
food. They have just moved to McDonald Avenue and Avenue P in Brooklyn.
Please call rafi at 917-861-7282 if you or some one you knows needs
food. Call between 8 am and 8 pm

Wolf & Lamb Brooklyn is accepting donations of the following items
for immediate distribution to the nearby coastal communities of Seagate,
Coney Island, and other nearby areas hard hit by the storm. Please take
a few minutes to help those hardest hit by the storm. PLEASE LIMIT
DONATIONS TO THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST. The following list has been
provided by volunteers on the scene and is urgently needed to help in
the cleanup effort.
